Dynasties

Interesting how a little glimpse behind the curtain can be so significant and so forgotten. The real shame of Monica-gate was the transition from investigating and prosecuting high crimes, to a diversionary sideshow.

The Clintons were initially caught using FBI, SS, IRS and other federal agency tools to punish enemies and reward friends. That subject was big news for a week or so, then suddenly disappeared to be replaced with the titillating story that dominated the news for six months (except for that brief period when Bill bombed Europe to alter headlines and inertia that was heading towards successful impeachment).

Citizenship and Immgration

Theodore Roosevelt’s ideas on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN in 1907: “In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American … There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag … We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”

Supremes on Second

Precious metals

What good are PMs (precious metals) and coins? You can’t eat them, make clothes out of them or burn them to heat your house.

AFTER you have food, shelter, security and clothing squared away, put money into securities. Real Estate is a boom based on the runaway printing of dollars. The stock market is a boom based on runaway printing of dollars. Bonds – same story. Mutual funds, insurance, retirement, Social Security – all with a foundation of inflated dollars and exchange of same.

Diversify your savings.

SS steals Ron Paul dollars

Friday, November 9th, the Liberty Dollar’s Evansville, Indiana offices received a two ton shipment of newly-minted one ounce coins with the image of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul on one side. One ounce, 99% silver coins are very common in the US and world, with past US politicians, rulers of other countries, comic book characters, historical figures, guns, trees and a thousand other things cast into their faces. Unless you feel threatened by Ron Paul’s presidential candidacy, there is nothing unusual here.

The following Wednesday a dozen FBI and Secret Service (SS) agents staged a raid on the Liberty Dollar’s Evansville, Indiana office at 8 a.m., confiscating all of its property, computers, records. equipment, gold, silver, platinum and about 64,000 commemorative Ron Paul coins. Of course their claimed justification for federal police action is that these coins and this business are “breaking the law”. So let’s look at the law.

Look for the union label

I understand from the Internet and newspapers, that television writers are on strike. This barely effects me as the next time I watch their product will be the first time in years. It does bring up the subjects of broadcast media and unions, and they do effect me.

Unions could be innocuous, but that would be a fluke. The moment one or more people become committed to the union as an employee, it develops a life of its own. Their primary objective becomes the health of the union. Their product is a strong union, not a motorcycle, trombone, groceries, television script or whatever the folks they are supposed to represent have chosen to do with their productive hours.

State control of the economy

Aug 5, 2006, I submitted a response to the following question of me as candidate for governor. My answer is becoming more obviously correct as time goes on.

What are your feelings about Idaho’s economy and what should the state do to improve it?

Idaho’s economy is booming. We have people pouring into the state flush with cash from the sale of their homes in California, Carolina and parts in between. The Treasure Valley is alive with the sounds of earth movers and nail guns. Construction dollars enrich the lives and pockets of retailers selling boats and boatloads of doo-dads from China. Politicians with pockets full of tax dollars promise spending programs to suit every voter they can imagine.

Who wouldn’t love this?

I don’t. I say the time for belt tightening, particularly in government is now.

Rising prices -?

When you are on the down escalator it appears the floors around you are moving up.

The privately-owned Federal Reserve, with complicity of the US Treasury and US Congress, has been printing and spending paper dollars since its creation in 1913. The printing of Federal Reserve Notes accelerated dramatically when Nixon finally disconnected the US dollar from precious metals.

The highest law of the land

I’m in my late 60′s and trusted our legal system to be reasonable and basically fair in most instances, however during the last few years I have observed otherwise in several cases.

I personally know of one individual who was dismissed from jury duty for professing his belief in the Fully Informed Jury Act.. Also I’m sure of collusion between attorneys and the judge in several, more personal cases, but impossible to prove. I was concerned that a letter, to the Bar Association, complaining about the matter would possibly have negative results in the future, should I be in court for some other reason. I have no reason to believe that I will be in court, but everyone should be concerned about any injustice occurring in our legal system.

Veteran’s Day

Senator Crapo took what he called “a great opportunity to share information on important issues facing … our country”. He wanted to remind me of the “huge debt of gratitude” we owe our military veterans and “Due to the sacrifices made by our service men and women, we have the great privilege of living in a free country.”

I don’t know when and where he moved, but the slightly less dishonored senator from Idaho can’t be living in the same country as the one I’m studying where the US Senate has presided over the destruction of the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. The “free country” I grew up in certainly died before the US President was allowed to order our military forces to bomb, shoot, blow up, poison, torture and maim hundreds of thousands of people without a legal Declaration of War.
